Tropical Storm Kiko to Become Remnant on Wednesday

KIKO WEAKENING; FINALLY EXPECTED TO BECOME A REMNANT LOW ON WEDNESDAY

Tropical Storm Kiko May Strengthen as It Approaches Central Pacific

Kiko is moving toward the WNW near 8 mph. This general motion is expected today, followed by a turn toward the NW on Tuesday.

Tropical Storm Kiko May Restrengthen

Some restrengthening could begin late Sunday, but is forecast to be short-lived with weakening anticipated by Tuesday.

Tropical Storm Kiko Weakens, Shifts to WSW Motion

A motion toward the SW or WSW is forecast to occur through Sunday night, followed by a westward to NW motion Monday and Tuesday.

UPDATE: Tropical Storm Kiko Slowly Treks Westward

According to NOAA graphics, TS Kiko will cross into the Central Pacific Basin (140 W) sometime Monday.

Kiko May Regain Hurricane Strength Friday

Slow strengthening is forecast for the next few days, and Kiko may regain hurricane strength on Friday.

UPDATES: Kiko Strengthening to Hurricane Status; Other Storms Brewing in Central Pacific

Kiko could become a hurricane again on Friday or Saturday.

TS Kiko to Reach Hurricane Status Over Weekend

The new National Hurricane Center forecast continues to show Kiko reaching hurricane strength in about 48 hours.
