County Reports 20 of 25 Big Island COVID-19 Patients Have Recovered

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended people avoid grocery stores and pharmacies as much as possible over the next two weeks, as the virus is expected to surge toward its peak nationally during that time.

Honolulu and Maui saw the biggest spikes, as several pending cases were also attributed to specific islands in the latest DOH report.

DOH Confirms 34 New COVID-19 Cases Overnight

Thus far, 15 of the 258 people infected with the coronavirus have been hospitalized, including two over the last 24 hours.

COVID-19 Cases Climb to 175 in Hawai‘i

According to the Department of Health, a total of 122,653 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported nationwide, including 19,332 new cases over the last 24 hours.

21 New Cases of COVID-19 Bring State Total to 77

There had been no reports of coronavirus-related deaths in Hawai‘i as of Monday at noon.
