Hawai’i Electric Light Utility Pole Impacted by Lava

Hawai’i Electric Light has announced that it appears that one of its poles that has been reached by lava is beginning to show the impacts of the heat.

June 27 Lava Flow Evening Update – 10/28/14

The June 27 lava flow has advanced approximately 45 yards since 1:30 p.m. and is about 370 yards from Pahoa Village Road.

After Hour Wi-Fi at Pahoa Public & School Library

The Pahoa Public & School Library will remain open as long as conditions are safe. Additionally the library will offer free after hours Wi-Fi service.
