Body of Ocean View Fire Victim Identified

The Hawai’i Police Department announced on Friday the identity of a man who died in a house fire on New Year’s Eve.

Sixty-seven-year-old Dale Gorrell of Hawaiian Ocean View Estates died when the home he was in burned.

The cause of Gorrell’s death remains unknown, pending toxicology results. Foul play is not suspected by police.
