The June 27 lava flow remains 480 feet from Pahoa Village Road, having not advanced in six days. Breakouts upslope remain .7 to 1.5 miles from the flow front.

The rough grade of the Chain of Craters Kalapana Road has been completed. Work on the next phase, crushing excavated material, is ready to begin.

Activity within the June 27 lava flow continues upslope with a breakout 175 yards behind the stalled front, Monday it was moving at a rate of 11 yards per hour.
