Residents on Milo Street in Kea’au are being asked to restrict water usage until further notice, according to the Department of Water Supply.
Affected residents, stretching from ‘Ohe Street down to Railroad Avenue, including Ulupono and 8-1/2 Mile Camp subdivisions, have reported low to no pressure in water service.
The DWS says it is investigating the water issues. In the meantime, residents are asked to keep water usage to an absolute minimum. Customers are discouraged from watering their lawns or washing cars, and keeping water needs to cooking, drinking, and sanitation use only.
Drinking water will be made available at a water tanker on Milo Street for residents that need it.
