Heavy rain hit North Kona and South Kona communities for several hours yesterday afternoon flooding portions of Hualālai Road, Kuakini Highway, Ali‘i Drive and parking lots throughout Kailua-Kona.

Hawaiian Electric urges customers to review their family and business emergency plans and to keep a close watch on the development of the storm.
