Rescued Hawaiian short-eared owl adapting well at Pana‘ewa Rainforest Zoo in Hilo
Lilinoe the pueo was rescued in December 2022 after being found on the side of the road with a broken wing in West Hawai‘i and became a full-time resident of the Big Island zoo at the end of July.
