HPD says the public is invited to take the month-long survey beginning on March 1.

“This survey is one of the tools we use to improve our crucial partnership with the community by incorporating community feedback into our daily operations,” said HPD Chief Harry Kubojiri. “By comparing the results of this year’s survey with the results of past surveys, we can gauge where we have improved and where we need additional improvement.”

Past surveys have assisted in identifying actions HPD can take to increase satisfaction in the community, according to Chief Kubojiri.

The internet survey can be taken on the HPD’s website. It will take a total of about five minutes and is limited to one time per computer, however, the respondent’s IP address will not be stored in the survey results.

The responses will be collected and compiled by an outside source. After the survey period, results will be posted on the Police Department’s website.
