Autopsy results are in for a California man who died Saturday after his vehicle crashed into a cement wall Saturday along Kanoelehua Avenue in Hilo.

The Hawai’i Police Department confirms that the autopsy revealed that 61-year-old Thomas Pokorski of Covina, Calif. died from a medical condition and not as a result of the crash.

HPD did not release the nature of the medical condition.

Since the death was not a result of the crash, it will not be counted towards the official traffic fatality count.
