Police ask public’s assistance in finding missing 17-year-old in Hilo

Hawai‘i police are seeking the public’s help in locating 17-year-old Laclyn Urbano-Pepee reported as a runaway.

Laclyn Urbano-Pepee of Kea‘au was last seen Monday morning, Feb. 2, in the 700 block of Kīlauea Avenue in Hilo. Authorities said she was wearing a black one-piece jumpsuit, a black sweater, and brown boots at the time.

Urbano-Pepee, a local resident, has a fair complexion, brown eyes, and shoulder-length dark brown hair. She is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs approximately 190 pounds.

Police are asking anyone with information about her whereabouts to call the Hawai‘i Police Department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.
