“I always appreciate the chance to hear directly from people across Hawai‘i about their priorities and concerns,” said Schatz in a release about the town hall.

The Hawai‘i Democrat during the tele-meeting heard from constituents throughout the state about their priorities and provided updates about his work in the Senate.

He also took questions about a wide range of many topics that included:

  • Rising costs.
  • Federal funding.
  • Health care.
