Endangered 13-year-old runs away; police seek help finding him

Chazin Nasario-Rodrigues

An endangered 13-year-old Big Island boy ran away more than 4 hours before this story was posted and Hawai‘i Island police want to know if anyone knows his whereabouts.

Chazin Nasario-Rodrigues is described as 5-foot-1, 130 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and Hawaiian.

He was last seen at 7:55 p.m. May 27 in the area of 100 block of Haili Street in Hilo, wearing a black shirt and black surf shorts.

Nasario-Rodrigues is considered endangered because of his age.

Anyone who sees the teen or has information that can help safely locate him is urged to immediately call 9-1-1 or contact police at 808-935-3311.
