Update at 12:48 p.m. April 10: Hawai‘i Island Police reported early the afternoon of April 10 that 28-year-old Saysha Wilson, who was previously reported missing after being last seen at 10:30 a.m. April 9 with her 1-year-old child, was located later the same day in good health.

Police did not provide any further information about the child or where Wilson was located in the update.

Original post at 5:42 p.m. April 9: A 28-year-old woman and her 1-year-old child last seen on foot at 10:30 a.m. April 9 in the area of Lōkahi Place in Hilo were reported missing. Hawai‘i Police Department is asking for the public’s help with finding them.

Saysha Wilson is 5-foot-3, weighs about 188 pounds, with a light brown complexion, brown hair and green eyes.

Wilson was last seen wearing a maroon sweatshirt and black shorts.

No further information was provided about her child.
