Update: Reward climbs to possible $21K for info leading to capture, arrest of manhunt suspect
Update at 4:03 p.m. March 15: Anyone who has information that could ulitmately lead to the capture and arrest of 39-year-old Christopher Lucrisia of Mountain View — who reportedly shot a Hawai’i Police Department Vice officer two times, including once in the head, on Friday morning outside a Hilo bank — now has the chance to bank a total of up to $21,000.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation, or FBI, is offering a reward of $10,000 for information leading to Lucrisia’s capture and arrest to match the U.S. Marshals Service reward of $10,000 previously announced.
Those who want to report information or tips about Lucrisia’s whereabouts or about the incident anonymously can call Hawai‘i Island Crime Stoppers, which is also offering a reward of up to $1,000.
The number is 808-961-8300, and Crime Stoppers does not record any calls or subscribe to caller ID.
That brings the combined total of possible reward money for information leading to his capture and arrest to $21,000.
Hawai‘i Island police and their federal and state partners continue the manhunt for the 39-year-old Mountain View man who has been on the run since the shooting just before 11 a.m. Friday.
Personnel with the FBI, U.S. Homeland Security Investigations, Hawai‘i Department of Law Enforcement, Hawai‘i Department of Land and Natural Resources and U.S. Marshals are helping the Hawai‘i Island police force actively search for Lucrisia to bring him to justice.
He is still considered armed and dangerous. The public should not approach him.
Lucrisia is 5-foot-10, weighs 250 pounds, described as Puerto Rican, with black hair and green eyes.
Hawai‘i Police Department also reminds the public that anyone harboring or concealing a wanted person could face criminal charges.

Anyone who might have witnessed or who has any information about the incident is urged to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311 or 9-1-1 if it is an emergency.
Again, those who want to remain anonymous can call the islandway Crime Stoppers number at 808-961-8300.
Hawai‘i Fusion Center also set up a web portal for people to submit photos or videos of Friday’s incident. While people are encouraged to leave their contact information with anything they submit online, submissions can also be anonymous.

The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information about Christopher Lucrisia.
He is the subject of an ongoing islandwide manhunt following the incident just before 11 a.m. Friday in the parking lot fronting First Hawaiian Bank near Prince Kūhiō Plaza.
Call 808-935-3311 to report tips about his whereabouts or other information that could lead to his capture or arrest.
Anonymous tips also can be made to Hawai‘i Island Crime Stoppers by calling 808-961-8300 for a reward of up to $1,000.
