Police Arrest, Charge Wanted Woman

Twenty-six-year-old Leilani Torres of Hilo has been located.
On Feb. 5, the Hawai’i Police Department issued an alert for Torres, who was wanted on a warrant for contempt of court and failure to appear, and had a warrant of arrest issued.
Torres was arrested on Friday. She was charged with violating terms of a deferred plea, contempt of court, and failure to appear.

In the initial bulletin, police noted that Torres was also wanted for questioning in connection with other investigations.
