Thirty-two-year-old David James Nall, involved in a confrontation in the parking lot of Walmart Hilo Wednesday, has been charged.

The Hawai’i Police Department charged Nall Friday at 3 p.m. with attempted second-degree assault, second-degree terroristic threatening, fourth-degree criminal property damage, and disorderly conduct.

Wednesday’s incident reportedly left a 34-year-old man with physical injuries, though not life threatening. The victim reported to police that Nall had used a knife to assault him after the pair got into a physical confrontation.

Nall’s bail was set at $3,500, and he remains at the Hilo police cellblock awaiting his initial court appearance Monday.
