Police Search for Missing Puna Woman

A 35-year-old Puna woman is being searched for by authorities, according to the Hawai’i Police Department.

Authorities say Misty Fuga was last seen in Hawaiian Paradise Park on Wednesday evening by her family.

Fuga’s family is concerned about her safety.

Described as Hawaiian and about 5-foot-6, Fuga weighs about 130 pounds. She has brown eyes, long brown hair, and was last seen wearing a pink hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone who may have information regarding her whereabouts is asked to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or contact Detective Dean Uyetake at 961-2379 or duytetake@co.hawaii.hi.us.

Individuals who wish to remain anonymous may call the Big Island Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300.
