Hawai‘i Island Transfer Station Closures

Due to staff shortages, the Hawai‘i County Department of Environmental Management closed three Hawai‘i Island transfer stations early on Tuesday, July 30, 2019.

Keauhou Transfer Station Closed May 31

Due to staff shortages, the Keauhou Transfer Station will close at 8 a.m. on Friday, May 31, and will reopen as regularly scheduled on Saturday, June 1.

Keauhou Transfer Station Closing Early March 29

The Keauhou Transfer Station closed at 9 a.m. on Friday, March 29, 2019, and will reopen as regularly scheduled on Saturday, March 30, 2019, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
