Update: Kawaihae Road near Anekona now open following crash

Update: The Hawaiʻi Police Department said Kawaihae Road near Anekona is now open following a crash.

UPDATE: North Kulani Road is now open

Motorists should use alternate routes while the section of North Kulani Road is closed for several hours.

Traffic advisory: Avoid Highway 11 in Honaunau near mile marker 106

Highway 11 in Honaunau will be closed between Honaunau School Road and Middle Keei Road for the next several hours. Traffic is being detoured.

Traffic advisory: Portion of ʻŌlaʻa Road closed in Kurtistown due to traffic accident

Utility crews are at the scene of the ʻŌlaʻa Road closure and will be working for the next several hours to replace a utility pole.

Traffic Advisory: Avoid Maile Street and Moaula Road in Pāhala due to brush fire

Motorists are advised to use Kamani Street as an alternate route.
