Hawai‘i Hotel Revenues Continue to Close in on Pre-Pandemic Levels

Hawai‘i hotels statewide reported substantially higher revenue per available room, average daily rate, and occupancy in December 2021 compared to December 2020 when the state’s quarantine order for travelers due to the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in dramatic declines for the hotel industry, according to data provided by the Hawaii Tourism Authority

1,904 New Cases Reported Tuesday

The state Department of Health reported 1,904 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, bringing the statewide total to 206,837. No new fatalities were reported.
