Big Island police seek missing Puna man

Big Island police are asking for the public’s help with locating a Puna man who has been missing since last week.

Michael Domingo, 33, was reported missing Dec. 10. He was last seen at about 10:25 a.m. Dec. 8 at his residence on Ipuaiwaha Street in Kea‘au.

Domingo is 5-foot-4, 160 pounds and has a medium-brown complexion, short black hair, brown eyes and a short black beard and mustache. It’s not known what he was wearing when he was last seen, but Domingo frequently wears a T-shirt and shorts.

He is known to frequent the 9 1/2 mile camp area in the Kea‘au, as well as the 8 1/2 mile camp off Milo Street. Domingo was last known to be operating a silver 2023 Kia Sorento with Hawai‘i license plate number ZLG967.

Anyone with information about his location is asked to call the Hawai‘i Police Department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.
