Jeremy A. Fleming made his initial appearance Tuesday morning in Kona District Court, during which his bailed was reduced to $300,000 and he was ordered to appear Sept. 9 for a preliminary hearing in the case.

33-year-old Krystal Hernandez is charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree promoting a detrimental drug following an incident Aug. 7 near the 75-5500 block of Kuakini Highway in Kailua-Kona.

Michael Bratt was charged with two counts of first-degree attempted promotion of a dangerous drug, two counts of first-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, and promoting a controlled substance in a public park.

Two men were stabbed. One was treated at the scene and the other was transported to Queen’s Medical Center in critical condition.

Both men appeared in Hilo District Court, where one was granted supervised release, and the other remains in custody on $374,000 bail.

The 20-year-old pleaded guilty in February 2025 and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
