Young Brothers announces modified gate hours next week at 2 ports

Young Brothers notifies the public and its customers about upcoming scheduled changes to gate hours at two of the state’s shipping ports.

The firm will have modified gat hours Oct. 20 at Port of Hilo on the Big Island and Oct. 21 at Port of Kahului on Maui.

Port of Hilo hours of operation

• Oct. 20
• Modified hours: 7:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Port of Kahului hours of operation

• Oct. 21
• Modified hours: 9:30 to 11 a.m. and noon to 4:30 p.m. (port will be closed 11 a.m. to noon for lunch)

Customers and the public are asked to plan accordingly for the changes to gate hours at both ports.

“We appreciate your flexibility as we work to keep the marine highway running smoothly for all the communities we serve,” said Young Brothers in an email announcement about the schedule modifications.
