Big Island man wanted on 2 outstanding warrants recently indicted for reported jewelry store theft
According to court documents, the wanted man was indicted on Sept. 21 on felony theft and second-degree burglary charges in connection with reportedly taking jewelry from Mountain Gold Jewelers.
Hawai‘i Island police are seeking the public’s help in locating a man from Waimea wanted for questioning in connection with a criminal investigation.
Christopher Wright, 64, currently has two outstanding warrants with a total bail of $105,000. According to court documents, he was indicted on Sept. 21 on felony theft and second-degree burglary charges in connection with reportedly taking jewelry from Mountain Gold Jewelers, located in South Kohala.
Wright has a thin build, 6 feet 1 inch tall, 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He is known to frequent Waikōloa Village, Kawaihae, and Waimea areas, as well as the Hawaiian Ocean View Estates area.
The Hawai‘i Police Department would also like to remind the public that harboring or concealing a wanted person could result in criminal charges.
