Hawai‘i Island police are again asking the public for its help with finding a 16-year-old who is still missing, being reported as a runaway nearly 9 months ago.

Naiomi Michael

Naiomi Michael was last seen in the Hawaiian Paradise Park and Kea‘au areas before she was reported as a runaway Sept. 19, 2025.

She is 5-foo-7, 120 pounds, Hawaiian/mixed ethnicity, with a tan complexion, long hair — that is possibly bleached or colored — and brown eyes.

Naiomi is known to frequent the Puna, Hilo and Kona areas.

Anyone who might have any information about her whereabouts is urged to contact Hawai‘i Police Department using its nonemergency line at 808-935-3311 or acting Detective Corey Kaneko at 808-961-8843 or via email at corey.kaneko@hawaiipolice.gov.

Hawai‘i Island police thank the public for its assistance in Naiomi’s case.
