Update: Missing endangered 66-year-old woman located in good health

Update at 8:13 p.m. Oct. 7, 2025: Hawai‘i Police Department reports that 66-year-old Diane “Wendy” Felkins, who was previously reported as an endangered missing person, was located in Mountain View and is in good health. Police thank the public for its cooperation.

Original post at 6:03 p.m. Oct. 7, 2025: Hawai‘i Police Department are searching for an endangered 66-year-old woman who has been missing since noon Oct. 7. Have you seen her? Authorities want to know.

Diane “Wendy” Felkins

Diane “Wendy” Felkins is 5-foot-8, 115 pounds, with long brown hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen Tuesday, wearing a red dress near Road G in the Puna subdivision of Hawaiian Acres.

Police are asking the public for help with finding her.

Anyone who has information that can assist with safely locating Felkins is urged to call 9-1-1 or the Hawai‘i Police Department non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.
