UPDATE: 13-year-old girl previously reported as endangered runaway located

Update at 9:29 a.m. Aug. 7, 2025: Hawai’i Island police report that 13-year-old Brieslee K. Bello, who was previously reported as an endangered runaway, was located this morning in good health in Hilo.

Original post at 8:40 a.m. Aug. 7, 2025: Hawai‘i Island police are asking the public for its help with finding a missing girl reported as a runaway and considered to be endangered because of her age.

Brislee K. Bello

Brislee K. Bello was last seen at 8:20 p.m. Aug. 6 in the 1700 block of Kino‘ole Street in Hilo.

The 13-year-old is 5-foot-3, 150 pounds, Hawaiian/Portuguese, with brown eyes and black hair.

Anyone who knows Brislee’s whereabouts or has inormation that could help safely locate her is urged to immediately call 9-1-1 or Hawai‘i Police Department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.
