Hilo man with medical condition that requires medication still missing after more than 4 months

No one has seen or heard from a 26-year-old Hilo man with a medical condition that requires medication for more than 4 months and Hawai‘i Island police are again pleading with the public to ask if anyone has any information that will lead to locating him.

Tyler Reikofski-Ekle

Tyler Reikofski-Ekle was last seen Aug. 10 in the area of the 15-mile marker on Kalapana-Kapoho Beach Road (Highway 137) in Pāhoa.

He is 6-foot-1, weights 185 pounds and Caucasian, with long blonde hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who might have information about Reikofski-Ekle’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact Detective Christopher Jelsma at 808-961-2386 or via email at christopher.jelsma@hawaiicounty.gov.
