Update at 11:41 a.m.: Big Island police report 80-year-old Daniel Eber, an “at risk” man previously reported missing, was located at 11:30 a.m. today in good health in Kea‘au.

Original post from 11:31 a.m. Oct. 8: Big Island police want to know immediately if anyone has seen 80-year-old Daniel Eber, who is considered to be “at risk” and is missing.

Eber was last seen at 9:15 a.m. today on 22nd Avenue in Hawaiian Paradise Park.

He is 6 feet tall, 165 pounds and was wearing a gray shirt, shorts and was barefoot.

If you have information that can assist with safely locating Eber, immediately call 9-1-1 or the Hawai‘i Police Department at 808-935-3311.
