FAA investigates helicopter hard landing in West Hawai‘i

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating after a helicopter made a hard landing in the area of Hualalai mountain, about 20 to 30 minutes away from Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport.

The Robinson R22 helicopter made its hard landing at around 8:45 a.m. Two people were on board and there were no reported injuries.
