Update at 11:45 p.m. Aug. 25: Big Island police reported shortly before 10 p.m. Aug. 25 that Georgette Olinger-Sakai was located in Hilo in good health.

Original story: Big Island police are asking for the public’s help with finding a missing “at risk” woman in need of medication.

The Hawai’i Police Department says 64-year-old Georgette Olinger-Sakai was last seen at 10 a.m. Aug. 25 on Kawailani Street on Hilo. The kūpuna is 5-feet-5 inches tall, 145 pounds, with dark hair and brown eyes.

If you have information that can assist in helping safely locate Olinger-Sakai, call 9-1-1 or contact police dispatch at 808-935-3311.
