The Hawai‘i County Department of Parks and Recreation is inviting people to apply for temporary summer employment as part of the 2023 Summer Fun program.

The department is looking for staff members who, under their supervision, can motivate and help develop a successful Summer Fun experience for the keiki in the program. Preferred applicants will have enthusiasm, patience, the ability to plan, organize and conduct activities and a desire to help children grow and develop.

Applicants must possess a current first-aid certification, submit a completed Summer Fun application and be available to work May 30 through July 14, 2023. Summer Fun begins June 5, 2023, following a mandatory four-day training period for all program staff.
