If you happen to find yourself going over the saddle on the Big Island on Tuesday morning, the roadway’s lone pitstop will be closed.
The Gilbert Kahele Recreation Area will be closed from 4:30 a.m.-noon Tuesday for vector control operations. As a result, the park’s public restrooms and amenities will not be available during this time.
