The Hawai‘i Police Department is once again inviting community members to come have a cup of joe with their local law enforcement, this time in the Laupāhoehoe area.

As part of continued efforts to engage with the Hāmākua community, HPD will host Coffee With a Cop from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, March 20, at Waipunalei Coffee Farm in Laupāhoehoe. The farm is located at 36-1038 Stevens Road.

This popular informal talk-story session allows area residents to ask questions, address community concerns and get to know their local police officers. There’s no agenda, just good conversation over a good cup of coffee.

For more information, contact Community Policing Officer Joseph Rocha at 808-962-2120 or via email at Joseph.Rocha@hawaiicounty.gov.
