Police Ask for Public’s Help to Locate Missing Puna Man

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in the search for a missing Puna man.

Family members say they have not heard from 31-year-old Ethan Bailey since the morning of Dec. 9.

He is described as a local Caucasian male who is 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 160-170 pounds, with short black and brown hair and a tan complexion. Bailey is known to frequent the Keaau and Pahoa areas.

He was last seen in Hawaiian Paradise Park wearing a gray hoodie sweater, black shirt and unknown colored bottoms or footwear.

Anyone with information about Bailey’s whereabouts is asked to call the police department’s nonemergency line at 808-935-3311, with attention to Officer Branden Watanabe.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 808-961-8300. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
