No Tsunami Threat Following 7.2M Vanuatu Earthquake

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center says there is no tsunami threat to Hawai’i following a 7.2 magnitude earthquake that occurred in Vanuatu.
According to PTWC, the earthquake occurred Saturday at 10:24 p.m. Hawai’i time.
United States Geological Survey officials say the earthquake was located 48 miles west-southwest of Sola, Vanuatu; 94 miles north of Luganville, Vanuatu; 261 miles north-northwest of Port-Vila, Vanuatu; 463 miles north of We, New Caledonia; and 547 miles north of Paita, New Caledonia.
