Honoli’i Beach Park, Kahoa Street Closed

Honoli’i Beach Park in Hilo is closed, as is Kahoa Street, which fronts the beach, according to the Hawai’i Police Department.

HPD issued an alert just before 6 a.m. announcing the closure. No reason was given for why the beach park or the road had been shut down.

Big Island Now will update the situation as more details become available.
