UPDATE: Elderly Woman Missing from Honoka’a Located

Missing 88-year-old Demetria Tabac was located in Honoka’a Tuesday morning, according to the Hawai’i Police Department.

HPD reports Tabac was unharmed.

No additional information was immediately available.

An 88-year-old Honoka’a woman has been reported missing.

The woman, identified by the Hawai’i Police Department as Demetria Tabac, was last seen Tuesday morning at 8:30 a.m. on Ohai Street in Honoka’a.

Tabac is described as 4-foot-10 and about 85 pounds. She has gray hair and was last seen wearing a blue and gray long dress, a blue gray hat, white tennis shoes, and glasses.

It is also possible that Tabac may be disoriented.

Anyone with information on Tabac’s whereabouts should call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
