UPDATE: Flood Advisory Extended Through 7:45 p.m.

A Flood Advisory issued for the Big Island has been extended through 7:45 p.m. Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.

Rainfall is slowing down in the Kailua-Kona area, however, emergency officials say that runoff continues to be reported on several roads in the Pualani Estates subdivision, as well as Kuakini Highway near Pottery Terrace and Highway 190 near the 35 and 36 mile markers.

All roadways are open at this time.

Keahole Point, Kona Village Resort, and Holualoa remain included in the advisory.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Advisory for the Big Island until 6:45 p.m. Saturday.

Just after 3:30 p.m., radar was showing heavy stationary rain near Keauhou, about seven miles southeast of Kona.

Keahole Point, Kona Village Resort, and Holualoa are all included in the advisory.
