HPD Releases Image of Murder Victim

Information is still needed by the Hawai’i Police Department in the investigation of the death of 69-year-old Dolores Borja Valle of Holualoa.

Police have released a photo of Valle, whose body was found in a Captain Cook coffee field on Aug. 9. A photo of his truck has also been released. The 2014 Toyota Tacoma was recovered in Ka’u.

An autopsy determined that Valle died from sharp and blunt force trauma to the head. HPD has ruled his death as a homicide.

Valle was also known as “Lolo.”

Area II Criminal Investigations Section detectives continue to investigate.
