Tiltmeter data at the summit of Kilauea on Tuesday was reported as flat by the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory.

HVO says that activity at the summit continues, especially in the lava lake within the Overlook crater, which remains active. The lava lake has reportedly held steady as the tilt has flattened out.

At Puʻu ʻŌʻō, several incandescent, outgassing vents remain within the crater, however, no obvious changes were noted by HVO over the past day. Officials say that lava flow expansion is continuing at the same rate that it has for the past few weeks.

June 27, 2014 lava flow observation continues through webcam and satellite imagery. Breakouts are scattered across an area about 2.5 to 5 miles to the northeast of Puʻu ʻŌʻō continue.
