Online judiciary systems experience an unexpected interruption this morning.

The Hawaiʻi State Judiciary announced that all online judiciary services will be down until further notice. During this period, the public will not be able to access the JEFS, eCourt Kokua, eTraffic, and eJury, as well as phone-based services such as eTraffic and jury services.

In addition, Honolulu District Court (Kauikeaouli Hale), located at 1111 Alakea St., will be closed on Thursday due to a power outage in the building. Hearings scheduled in courtroom 7C at Honolulu District Court for defendants who are in custody will instead be held at Kāneʻohe District Court, located at 45-939 Puʻokela St. in Kāneʻohe.

Family Court criminal cases scheduled to be heard on the 8th floor at Honolulu District Court will instead be held at Honolulu Circuit Court (Kā‘ahumanu Hale), located at 777 Punchbowl St. in Honolulu. Other hearings, trials, and court proceedings scheduled for Thursday at Honolulu District Court will be rescheduled.

Chief Justice Vladimir P. Devens will issue an order, to be posted on the Hawaiʻi State Judiciary website, extending the deadline for filing documents due at Honolulu District Court (Kauikeaouli Hale) on Thursday until Friday, October 30.

The public may visit the Hawaiʻi State Judiciary website for updates and information.
