Update: 34-year-old missing endangered man has been located

Update 6 a.m., Sept. 18: The Hawaiʻi Police Department reports that missing person David Armitage has been located in good health.

Original post: Hawai‘i Police Department asks the public for its help with locating a missing endangered 34-year-old man last seen the night of Sept. 17.

David Armitage is 5-foot-7, 175 lbs., with short salt-and-pepper hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen at 10:40 p.m. Thursday in ʻĀinaloa, wearing a black shirt and dark colored shorts, driving a 2015 silver Toyota Tacoma with license plate number SSR638, a “Maui Built” sticker and black pipe racks.

Anyone with information that can help safely find Armitage is urged to call 9-1-1 or the Hawai‘i Police Department non-emergency number at 808-935-3311.
