The U.S. Postal Service will temporarily suspend operations and regular mail delivery in observance of Independence Day on July 4.

Post Office locations across Hawaiʻi will be closed for the federal holiday. Regular mail delivery and retail services will resume on Monday, July 6.

The Postal Service also announced it will commemorate the nation’s 250th anniversary with special initiatives at select Post Offices, patriotic-themed Priority Mail packaging, and commemorative merchandise beginning in early July while supplies last.

Although retail counters will be closed on the holiday, customers can continue to access a variety of postal services online and through self-service options.
