Hāmākua Energy to host virtual community meeting on March 24

Hāmākua Energy, which supplies 20% of the electricity on Hawaiʻi Island, plans to spend the remainder of 2026 working to make Hawaiʻi Island more energy resilient.

Hāmākua Energy will share its plans and provide a recap of the company’s activities in the past quarter during the community information meeting on Tuesday, March 24.

The company plans to continue its partnership with the Hawaiian Electric Co. to deliver reliable, cost-effective energy to feed the utility’s grid for island residents and businesses.
