Update 8:44 p.m. March 22: Hawai’i Island police report that 44-year-old Sarah Hurst, who was previously reported missing, was located in Hilo on March 19 in good health. 

Original post: Hawaiʻi Island police are seeking the public’s help in locating 44-year-old Sarah Hurst, who has been reported missing.

Hurst was last seen at a residence in the 100 block of Likeke Street in the Waiakea Uka in the Waiākea Uka subdivision in Hilo on Thursday, March 5, 2026. She is described as Caucasian with a thin build, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 140 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde hair.

Police ask anyone with information on Hurst’s whereabouts to call the police department’s nonemergency line at 808-935-3311.
