Phones currently aren’t functioning properly at Hawai‘i Police Department’s Kealakehe Police Station in Kona.

While officers are able to make outgoing calls, incoming calls are not being received at this time, police officials confirmed this afternoon.

Hawaiian Telcom has initiated a repair ticket and is scheduled to be on site on March 13 to assess and address the issue.

In the meantime, individuals needing to contact personnel at the Kealakehe Police Station are asked to call the department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311 so messages can be forwarded to the appropriate officer.
