Queens’ Marketplace in Waikōloa has a new tenant.

Snorkel Bob’s opened its second Big Island location Dec. 20 at the shopping plaza, bringing with it the decades of experience it has become known for outfitting kamaʻāina and visitors alike with high-quality snorkeling gear and ocean adventure essentials.

The locally owned and operated company founded on Maui has built a loyal following throughout the islands for its custom-fitting equipment, knowledgeable service and commitment to protecting local reefs.

Its new Queens’ Marketplace store offers Snorkel Bob’s signature selection of premium masks, snorkels and fins, with fin sizes ranging from 00 to 17, as well as kid-friendly masks and snorkels designed for comfort and fun.

Specialty offerings include prescription lenses for adults and children, ensuring customers can clearly see underwater.

Snorkel Bob’s also provides a variety of beach equipment and recreational services, including:

  • Boogie boards.
  • Sunshades.
  • Beach chairs.
  • Flotation devices.
  • Access to experiences such as manta night snorkeling, lūʻau and other island activities.

Snorkel Bob’s even offers 24-hour interisland gear returns, providing added convenience for island-hopping travelers.

“There’s a lot of great snorkeling in the Waikōloa area, and being close to Queens’ Marketplace makes it easy for people to gear up and get in the water,” said Snorkel Bob’s general manager Keith Christie in the announcement of the second location.

Snorkel Bob’s at Queens’ Marketplace is open 8 a.m. t0 5 p.m. daily.
