10:51 p.m. Feb. 7 update: Hawaiʻi Belt Road (Highway 19) has reopened to all traffic near the 36 mile marker in Paʻauilo, according to the Hawaiʻi Police Department.

Original post: The Hawaiʻi Police Department advises motorists to avoid Hawaiʻi Belt Road near Paʻauilo due to a landslide.

Traffic on Hawaiʻi Belt Road (Highway 19) near mile marker 36 will be contraflowed and may be delayed for the next four hours, according to the Hawaiʻi Police Department.

No injuries have been reported.
